The new interactive BBC iReporter game – aimed at students aged 11 to 18 – gives them the chance to become a BBC reporter.
The game is a professional designed “choose your own adventure” game, created by Aardman Animations.
Students get to challenges themselves to make decisions on which sources, political claims, social media comments and pictures should be trusted as they contribute to the day’s news output.
Which news should be published, which should be checked and which should be discarded? It is up to the student to make the decision.
The game is part of a BBC initiative to help young people identify false stories.
The BBC have also put together a teachers guide to help with the implementation of the game in your class – TEACHER GUIDE
