My name is Shem Banbury.
I live with my wonderful wife, Rachel, in Tauranga. I have three amazing kids – Asa, Eli and Milli – who keep us both very busy.
I have been teaching for 23 years in a variety of schools in New Zealand and around the world. I am currently the Deputy Principal at Mount Maunganui Intermediate. I have a passion for Media Literacy, Leadership and Education.
In my spare time I run the Kiwi Kids News website. This is New Zealand’s only news website specifically designed for students.
I also love playing sport (golf, cricket, triathlon, running, football and tramping)
